See your clicks per second, check your rhythm, and try for one more click than your personal best.
Thirty seconds gives you time to test sustained clicking without committing to a full minute. Start comfortably and use your rhythm chart to spot changes in pace.
What is a CPS test?
A CPS test measures clicks per second: the number of valid clicks you make divided by the selected test duration. It is a simple way to explore your clicking speed and track your own progress.
The timer uses a high-resolution browser clock. A click at or after the end time does not count. Mouse and trackpad results share one category because browsers cannot reliably tell them apart. Touchscreen tests accept one active finger at a time and are saved separately.
Compare like with like: the same duration, input category, and counting rules. Scores are personal measurements, not verified competition results. Switching tabs or leaving the page cancels an active round.
Race your best replays the actual click times of a matching saved round. The opponent is fixed when your round starts. If an older record has no replay, a recent compatible round is clearly labelled Last round. Longer-test feedback compares the opening 60% of the round with the remaining 40%; it describes measured click differences only.
Keep it comfortable. Take a break between rounds and stop if your hand feels tired.
A few things worth knowing.
How do you calculate clicks per second?
Divide valid clicks by the selected duration. If you make 42 clicks in a 5-second test, your result is 8.40 CPS. The first click counts; clicks at or after the deadline do not.
What is a good CPS score?
There is no universal benchmark for every device, technique, and duration. Start with your own result and aim to improve it under the same conditions. We do not assign global ranks or percentiles.
Can I test on a phone or trackpad?
Yes. Use one finger on a touchscreen, or your primary button on a mouse or trackpad. Touchscreen records are separate. Browsers cannot reliably distinguish a mouse from a trackpad.
Can I use the 30-second mode?
Yes. Select 30 seconds above for a longer test. It uses the same engine and keeps its own records, separate from 5-second results.
